Welcome to the Microsoft® Project Fundamentals. You are about to embark on a journey through the basics of Microsoft Project capabilities that can help you effectively manage your projects. The procedures and examples used in this course are based on Microsoft Project 2021(all versions). If you are working with Microsoft Project Professional 2019 version, the perpetual (non-subscription) version, you should be able to follow along with this course just fine.

This text is presented in the context of what a project manager needs to know. As a result, features not relevant to a project manager, such as the Project Server administrator functions, are not covered.
